Shapes are another aspect to consider when picking the perfect tent.  The shape of a tent can be very important, depending on the needs of the camper.  Those who are looking for the lightest weight tent as possible should make sure they choose a tent with a single-wall.  These tents are best in warmer months under predictable conditions.

The most popular tent shape is the dome tent. Thankfully the dome shaped tent is very versatile and can be used in many camping situations.  The cabin tent is a great option for families with more than three camping members.  These large tents are often heavy, but they offer more square footage than most.  The cabin tent can have taller ceilings and extra space for even a small table.
