Tent trailers are much less expensive than a full sized RV.  Many companies offer rental prices for tent trailers.  Rentals cost an average of $70 a day.  For this low price, families can enjoy a full camping experience with tent and RV qualities in their tent trailers.  To purchase tent trailers, buyers can expect starting prices of $5000.  This is very inexpensive considering most new full size RVs can average $250,000 and up.  Even renting a full size RV can cost around $600 a day.
